Buckwheat is one of those cereals that boasts a high protein content. It is believed that buckwheat can partially replace meat. In addition, it contains quite a lot of fiber, which gives a feeling of satiety for a long time. This cereal is prepared in different ways: boiled, fried, stewed or baked in the oven with vegetables.
Step 1

In a frying pan with heated oil, fry the onion and carrot over medium heat for about 5 minutes. Add pepper, salt, pepper, stir and cook for another 2 minutes.

Add buckwheat to the pan, mix it with vegetables and transfer to a baking dish. Pour water over the buckwheat, cover the dish with foil and put it in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
