
Pour a large amount of cold water over the lentils and put them on the fire. Salt the water, bring it to a boil and cook the lentils on low heat for about 30 minutes. Drain the finished lentils in a colander.

Cut the chicken into small pieces.

Finely chop the onion.

Chop the garlic.

Heat a frying pan and fry the onion and garlic in vegetable oil for 3 minutes.

Add the chicken and fry everything together for 7-10 minutes until the chicken is cooked. Season with salt and pepper.

Place lentils and chicken on a plate.

Garnish the dish with a cherry tomato.
