Start kneading the dough. Place soft butter in a deep bowl, add sugar and vanilla and mix until smooth. Use a mixer for this, beat the mixture for 1-2 minutes at low power.

Prepare the eggs and mix the dough. Add the yolks to the butter and mix thoroughly. Gradually pour in the flour mixed with baking powder, stirring constantly. Add the yogurt at room temperature. Then beat the whites in a separate container with a mixer at high speed until fluffy and add to the dough. Mix the finished dough with a mixer at low power to fill it with oxygen.

Pour the batter into the waffle iron. Grease the waffle iron plates with vegetable oil and heat the device for about 10 minutes. Pour 2 tablespoons of batter onto each plate, smooth it out over the form and close the waffle iron. Do not pour in more batter, otherwise it will spill out. If you pour in less, the waffles will be very small.

Prepare the waffles. Bake for about 3-5 minutes. Remove the waffles with silicone spatulas or tongs to avoid damaging the non-stick coating.
